Ted Santos

Over the past 17 years, Ted Santos has developed a reputation for stabilizing companies experiencing rapid uncontrollable growth or that were under performing and striving to increase their valuation. Through his experience in direct sales, sales training, leadership and CEO development, cultural change initiatives, and international development, he has had an enormous and rapid impact on organizations going through transition.
Ted has advised companies in various industries such as, financial, high tech, manufacturing, legal, and transportation.
Since 2005, Ted has served as CEO of Turnaround Investment Partners (TIP), where he has built a dynamic team of management consultants. When working with clients, he partners with CEOs and serves as a trusted advisor to create market differentiation, develop strategy, deploy human resources, and hire key personnel. In addition, he coaches executives to uncover and penetrate untapped markets, shift corporate culture and align staff and management to the corporate vision.
In the past, Ted was a management consultant for an executive coaching firm where he advised clients through a very powerful methodology for leading organizations and changing corporate culture. There he coached executives of Fortune 500s as well as entrepreneurs.
Prior to working as an executive coach, Ted founded a cultural consulting firm that helped corporations develop marketing campaigns to penetrate non-English speaking communities in the US and abroad. After three years of operation, he successfully sold the firm for two times earnings.
Ted spent 2-1/2 years developing relationships with leaders in Latin America. In Mexico, he secured opportunities for an US based event management company.
Ted is a board member of A Caring Hand, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. A Caring Hand provides bereavement and scholastic scholarships to children who have lost a parent(s). He is also the Co-Chair for the sales and marketing segment of NYSIA (New York Software Industry Association).
Ted’s work on leadership has been published in the American Management Association as well as journals and web sites throughout Europe and Asia.
Ted attended Howard University as a marketing major and speaks fluent Spanish and is proficient in Portuguese.
Ted completed Boardology 400 conducted by Boardroom Bound on the art and science of corporate board governance.
Ted enjoys international travel, hiking and exercise. In fact, he still competes in track and field.
Ted is not married, however, after the loss of both his parents, he raised his youngest sister while living in Washington, DC.
